Do you want to snap some unbelievable photos? How about if I reveal some digital photography lessons? Let’s talk about composition! Looking at composition, or how the picture is constructed, when taking a photograph is one item that could make your photos pop. So, how can you construct a better picture?
Composition deals with how your picture is framed, the angle, location of objects in the frame, light, color, texture, depth of field and motion. These are just a few of the extensive list of items that make up composition. If you use a few of these digital photography lessons, your photos should advance greatly.
I will show you some of my favorite tricks. These digital photography lessons have been the most dynamic at improving my skills.
Changing the Angle -- If you are like I once was, you peer into the view finder in the camera, the horizon is flat and “click” you take the picture. I have to divulge how drab my photos were. To add more character to the photograph, rotate the camera a little.
Leading Lines -- You can improve your photos by leading the viewer into the photograph. A very easy way is with leading lines. Leading lines are as simple as a road, dock or shoreline. You could use the edge of a building, a fence or anything else that will grab the viewer’s eye and pulls them in.
Reflection -- The other day I was reflecting on past experiences… Oh, I know that you wouldn’t like to hear me rant on about that, but why don’t you think about this: One of the extremely useful digital photography lessons to add dimension is to use a reflective surface. Snap a picture using a reflection in water, a mirror, a window or anything metallic and shiny. The most photographed object is called “The Bean” in Chicago.
Fill Flash -- Flashing people in the daytime will help your pictures. Wait a minute that didn’t come out right. What I mean is one way to get rid of shadows during the day is to use your flash. This works very well on people’s faces.
Incorporating these digital photography lessons when taking pictures can help tremendously. All of these have helped me produce some incredible photographs and with practice, I am sure they can enhance your pictures as well.
As shown above, Digital Photography Lessons can be simple and effective. These ideas are just the tip of the iceberg. If you want see even more Digital Photography Lessons, I have many other articles that should interest you.
